Stay Royal Terms & Conditions for Guests

At Stay Royal, guest safety, property security, and legal compliance are our top priorities. All guests must read and accept the following terms before check-in. By booking, checking in, or staying at any Stay Royal property, the guest agrees to follow these terms and provide accurate information for verification and safety purposes.

By booking, checking in, submitting KYC, signing the digital agreement, or staying at any Stay Royal property, the guest confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Mandatory KYC and Identity Verification

All guests must complete the required KYC process before check-in. Stay Royal may ask for two valid government-issued IDs, digital KYC verification, live selfie verification, mobile number, email address, emergency contact, booking details, and payment details.

Stay Royal reserves the right to deny check-in or cancel the booking if:

  • Guest refuses to complete KYC
  • Submitted ID is fake, unclear, expired, mismatched, or suspicious
  • Selfie verification fails
  • Guest information is incomplete or incorrect
  • Booking or payment details are suspicious

2. Identity Declaration

The guest declares:

“I confirm that all identity documents, mobile numbers, email details, emergency contact details, booking details, and other information submitted by me are genuine, valid, and belong to me. I understand that submitting fake, forged, misleading, or incorrect information may result in cancellation, denial of check-in, eviction, damage recovery, and legal reporting.”

3. Lawful Use of Property

The guest agrees to use the property only for lawful residential stay purposes. The property must not be used for any illegal, unsafe, fraudulent, violent, or suspicious activity.

Strictly prohibited activities include:

  • Theft, fraud, cheating, robbery, snatching, or criminal conspiracy
  • Drugs or illegal substances
  • Prostitution or human trafficking
  • Gambling or illegal betting
  • Violence, threats, assault, harassment, or intimidation
  • Possession or use of weapons, explosives, or dangerous items
  • Storage of stolen goods or suspicious valuables
  • Any activity prohibited under Indian law

If any unlawful or suspicious activity is found or suspected, Stay Royal may immediately cancel the stay without refund and report the matter to law enforcement authorities.

4. Occupancy & Visitor Policy

Only registered and verified guests are allowed to stay overnight. Unregistered guests, visitors, or additional people are not allowed without prior approval from Stay Royal management.

Every overnight guest must submit valid ID and complete verification if required. Stay Royal may deny visitor entry for safety and security reasons.

The Guest is responsible for ensuring that all visitors follow the property rules. The Host reserves the right to deny entry to any visitor for safety or security reasons

5. Responsibility for Damages

The Guest is responsible for any damage, loss, breakage, theft, or misuse of property, furniture, appliances, electronics, keys, fixtures, or any other items caused by the Guest or their visitors.

The Guest agrees to pay the actual repair, replacement, or cleaning charges for any intentional or negligent damage caused during the stay

6. Visitor, Party and Event Policy

Parties, gatherings, commercial events, private events, photoshoots, video shoots, or commercial filming are not allowed unless approved in writing by Stay Royal.

Guests must not create nuisance, loud music, disturbance, overcrowding, or inconvenience to neighbours, society members, staff, or property owners.

7. Prohibited Items & Activities

The following are strictly prohibited inside the property:

  • Weapons or firearms
  • Illegal drugs or banned substances
  • Explosives, fireworks, or hazardous materials
  • Gambling activities
  • Loud parties beyond approved limits
  • Commercial filming, photoshoots, or video shoots without permission
  • Any illegal or unsafe activity

Violation of this clause may lead to immediate cancellation of the stay without refund.

8 . Cleanliness & Property Care

The Guest agrees to keep the property clean and use all items with care. The Guest must not stain walls, furniture, bedsheets, towels, curtains, carpets, or other property items.

Extra cleaning charges may apply if the property is left in an extremely dirty, damaged, or unhygienic condition

9. CCTV and Security Disclosure

For guest safety and property security, CCTV cameras may be installed in common and outdoor areas such as entrance, gate, parking, stairs, corridors, lobby, and exterior areas.

No CCTV cameras are installed in private areas such as bedrooms, bathrooms, or changing areas.

CCTV footage may be retained for approximately 60–90 days where technically feasible and may be shared with law enforcement authorities when legally required or in case of safety, fraud, damage, or criminal concern.

The Guest agrees not to damage, cover, disconnect, or tamper with any CCTV camera or security equipment

10. Emergency Contact Consent

The guest must provide a valid emergency contact. Stay Royal may contact the emergency person in case of medical emergency, safety issue, identity issue, suspicious activity, property damage, unpaid dues, or any urgent situation related to the guest’s stay.

11. Cooperation with Law Enforcement

The guest consents to Stay Royal sharing booking details, KYC records, ID details, guest register information, payment records, CCTV footage from common/outdoor areas, check-in/check-out details, and other relevant information with police, government authorities, courts, or law enforcement agencies when legally required or when there is a genuine safety, fraud, damage, or criminal concern.

12. Check-in & Check-out Rules

The Guest agrees to follow the check-in and check-out timings shared by the Stay Royal. Late check-out is subject to availability and prior approval.

Extra charges may apply for late check-out or unauthorized extended stay.

The Guest must return all keys, access cards, remotes, or property items before check-out.

13. Safety & Personal Belongings

The Guest is responsible for their own personal belongings, valuables, cash, jewellery, documents, vehicles, and electronic items.

Stay Royal shall not be liable for any loss, theft, damage, or misplacement of such items, except where such loss or damage is directly caused by the proven negligence or willful misconduct of Stay Royal.

14. Compliance with Society / Local Rules

The Guest agrees to comply with all applicable society rules, building regulations, parking guidelines, local laws, and any instructions or policies communicated by Stay Royal.

Any violation of society regulations, property rules, or local laws may result in the immediate cancellation of the stay without any refund.

15. Vehicle and Parking Policy

Guests must provide vehicle details if bringing a vehicle to the property. Parking is subject to availability and property rules.

Stay Royal is not responsible for theft, damage, challan, towing, or loss related to guest vehicles unless caused directly by proven negligence of Stay Royal.

16. Booking and Payment Records

Guests agree that Stay Royal may maintain booking, payment, invoice, refund, security deposit, and transaction records for business, accounting, safety, dispute resolution, and legal compliance purposes.

Any pending payment, damage charge, extra guest charge, cleaning charge, or penalty must be cleared before check-out or as requested by Stay Royal.

17. Foreign Guest Compliance

Foreign guests must provide a valid passport, visa, and any other required details before check-in. Where applicable, Stay Royal may submit foreign guest information to the relevant government or law enforcement authorities as required under applicable rules.

Check-in may be denied if proper passport, visa, or required foreign guest details are not provided.

18. Data Privacy and Consent

Guest information is collected for booking, verification, safety, legal compliance, payment, communication, and property security purposes.

Stay Royal will not sell guest data. However, guest information may be shared with KYC providers, booking platforms, payment processors, legal advisors, government authorities, or law enforcement agencies when required for legitimate or lawful purposes.

18. Cancellation of Stay

The Host reserves the right to cancel the stay immediately if the Guest:

  • Provides false identity details
  • Damages the property
  • Creates nuisance or disturbance
  • Conducts illegal or prohibited activities

In such cases, the Guest may be required to vacate the property immediately, and no refund shall be provided.

19. Right to Refuse, Cancel or Evict

Stay Royal reserves the right to refuse check-in, cancel the booking, or ask the guest to leave immediately if:

  • KYC is incomplete or suspicious
  • Guest provides fake or mismatched ID
  • Guest behaviour is abusive, unsafe, suspicious, or illegal
  • Refuses to submit valid ID proof
  • Allows unregistered guests without approval
  • Property rules are violated
  • Payment is pending
  • Damage or misuse is found
  • Illegal or prohibited activity is suspected
  • Violates any term of this agreement

In such cases, the Guest may be required to vacate the property immediately, and no refund shall be provided.

20. Guest Declaration & Consent

By clicking “I Agree”, signing digitally, submitting the KYC form, completing selfie verification, making payment, or entering the property, the guest confirms:

I confirm that I have read and understood all the terms mentioned in this Guest Agreement / Consent Form.

I agree to follow all property rules, safety guidelines, legal requirements, and instructions given by Stay Royal.

I understand that violation of this agreement may lead to cancellation of my stay, removal from the property, charges for damages, and/or reporting to the concerned authorities
